my camera started loosing battery somewhere during the boat ride, so i tried to conserve battery life and borrowed my friend's point and shoot for a few shots.
i was tempted to make posts based upon location. one post on the notre dame, one post on the eiffel tower.....but i dunno. that would be wayyy to many blog posts for my liking so you get giant 100+ photo spams.
the notre dame was beautiful, and it simply blew my mind. how did people make this without modern technology? but there was a strange air of depression, so i won't say it was my favorite church. my favorite church/place in the world is la sagrada familia in barcelona, but more on that later!
sorry, i was too lazy to properly crop the panorama i took.
around the notre dame there were a bunch of interesting little gardens....this one ad a see-saw. i regretably climbed onto the side with zainab (in the green) to balance out the weight. and the photos that resulted look so questionable that i won't even post them.
pigeon whisperer
yeah, i dunno what that is.
we hung out under a tree, it was cool.
ms. young and claudia posing in front of a french cafe. in which the owner viciously tried to shoo us away. sorry for taking 2 minutes of your time, sheesh.

the art in montmarte was one of the highlights of paris.
christina and i bought stuff.
we always do this thing where ms. young says we're seeing ANOTHER church and we're like ughhhh anotherrr church whyyy. and then when we see the church we go: HOLY SHIT. the church had a view of all of paris, with a street musician playing storybook parisian music in the background. it was perfect.
SEX SHOPS!
the "red" side and the "white" side.
the hardest bread in the world. talya bopped my on the head with it, and damn it was painful.

the view from the first level! we climbed the first two levels and rode the elevator to the top. whew, what a workout.
on top of the world.
if you stick your head/camera out this is what you see.
if you look up from the second level, it's fucking amazing. we were told to be on the ground at 11 to witness the tower come to life.
my teacher thought i was having a spaz attack since i kept shaking my camera around. XD long exposure, for the win!
